Proof before
scale.
We treat evidence as an engineering deliverable: the question, comparison, inputs and stage of validation matter as much as the number itself.
Four gates. No shortcuts.
A consistent approach across research, predictive software and customer-facing products.
Set the baseline
Specify population, horizon, ground truth, reference, and success criteria before evaluation.
Record the run
Version models, inputs, preprocessing, calibration and outputs to guard against post-hoc changes.
Audit the result
Keep sufficient artifacts and methods to reproduce the reported result under controlled access.
Qualify operation
Test supplier rights, delivery conditions and customer utility before broad deployment claims.
Validation is
not one checkbox.
THOR Flights currently reports predictive performance at P2; BOUNDA and THOR Space follow their own validation paths. Later stages address whether that translates into the intended operational system and into customer value.
Defined forward cohort and comparator; this is the current THOR Flights evidence level.
Test whether outputs support actual workflows under controlled customer conditions.
Measure customer value against an agreed baseline before stating commercial outcomes.
Data rights are
production gates.
THOR 42 LAB intends to process third-party feeds only within appropriate contractual permissions. The intended product architecture generates proprietary THOR outputs rather than acting as an unrestricted raw-data redistribution service.
Contractual scope determines which data may be processed, retained or used commercially.
Coverage, freshness, quality, cost and resilience are evaluated rather than assumed.
Outputs should be linked to input and model versions for meaningful review.
Operational and legal responsibilities are defined before customer rollout.
Evaluate against your reality.
Discuss a focused validation, supplier relationship or research collaboration.
